TEHRAN, Dec. 21 (MNA) – Iran’s Hassan Rouhani has departed Yerevan for yet another destination this time in Central Asia, Kazakhstan.

Mr. Rouhani is in a tour of the Eurasian countries and had meetings with Caucasian republic of Armenia on Wednesday. A high-ranking joint commission of tradesmen and entrepreneurs was chaired jointly by President Rouhani and President Sarah Sargsyan of Armenia, where they signed 5 cooperation agreements.

The delegation now is en route to Astana, Kazakhstan in the second leg of the tour. Rouhani’s visit is by an official invitation of the country’s president Nursultan Nazarbayev. Kazakhstan recently offered hosting of the next round of the trilateral meeting on Syria, where Iran, Turkey, and Russia addressed Syrian problems earlier this week.
