TEHRAN, Nov. 09 (MNA) – Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Iranian Parliament Speaker's Special Adviser on International Affairs, condemned US of neglecting the issue of sustainable security in Syria peace talks and using terrorism as a tactic.

Amir-Abdollahian made the remarks in a meeting with State Secretary for Foreign Policy at Denmark’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lone Dencker Wisborg on Tuesday night.

Pointing to the long history of parliamentary relations between the two countries, Amir-Abdollahian said Tehran and Copenhagen enjoy many opportunities for interaction and cooperation based on mutual interests.

Touching upon regional issues including in Syria, Amir-Abdollahian asked "why those who call themselves Syrian opposition and fight against Bashar al-Assad government, flare up crisis in and attack on places like hospital and schools causing the deaths of civilians and innocent people;" they are foreign-backed terrorists, he noted.

Amir-Abdollahian stressed the continuation of international efforts noting that the world should be after a political realistic solution to the Syrian crisis.

He pointed to Yemen's issue asking for more attention to Saudi warmongering objectives to create humanitarian crisis in Yemen.

Amir-Abdollahian said the southern Yemen is considered a major spot for the spread of terrorism due to its access to waterways, threatening all countries of the world .

He added that the US has always been alongside Saudi Arabia in encroaching on Yemen.

Lone Dencker Wisborg, for her part, pointing to good relations between the two countries, especially in the field of parliamentary diplomacy, called for the development of sustainable peace in Syria.

She praised the European Union's Foreign Policy Chief Federica Mogherini's efforts in helping resolve the crisis in Syria, pointing to her periodic trips to the region.

She also described conditions in Yemen as terrible, acknowledging that the road map for peace is needed.

Wisborg pointed out that the creation of an inclusive government after the liberation of Mosul in Iraq and the participation of all political groups is necessary, and added that Tehran and Copenhagen hold same viewpoints on Iraq.
