TEHRAN, Oct. 01 (MNA) – The 35th edition of Iran’s Fajr International Film Festival (FIFF) to be held on 21-28 April 2017 in Tehran is calling for entries.

The Iranian major international event in cinema industry will hold its 35th edition on 21-28 April 2017. The festival is calling for submissions in following sections:

Main Sections:

International Competition

Panorama of Films from Asian and Islamic Countries

Festival of Festivals

Parallel Sections:

Classic Restored Films.

Docs in Focus.

Special Screenings (retrospectives and memorials).

FIFF also includes special events, including:

Darolfonoun (Talent Campus for Iranian, Regional and World Young Filmmakers).

Student Lab (in Universities).

Workshops and Seminars.

Those interested in participating in the 35th Fajr International Film Festival (FIFF) are welcome to submit their films to the Secretariat of the festival from October 1 to March 10, 2017.

This year’s festival will have two more days for the screenings and will last eight days instead of the regular six days.
