TEHRAN, Jul. 19 (MNA) – Foreign Minister Javad Zarif has attended Parliament session on Tuesday to speak about JCPOA implementation after a year of its final approval on July 14.

Mr. Zarif told Parliament, among his host of issues, that if Congress approved bill preventing purchase by the US of Iran's heavy water, according to JCPOA, Mr. Obama would veto the vote; "Congress maneuverings are mainly propagandist seeking to show that working with Iran is dangerous; they well know that the Senate will never approve such bills, and if it approves, President's veto is still a major hurdle,' Mr. Zarif told the Parliament session.

"They work on a project to promote the psychological atmosphere around the world that cooperation with Iran is costly; we have a policy to show the contrary however; we remind the US government that all Congress' measures are against the spirit of JCPOA subject of so eulogizing remarks by the US officials themselves as guaranteeing peace in the region; now if they fail to control Congress destructive actions, things will go other way," Zarif emphasized.
