TEHRAN, Jul. 12 (MNA) – Iranian deputy FM has announced that Iran’s expectations of the JCPOA have not been fully realized which poses demands for further efforts.

Australian Ambassador to Tehran Paul Foley, at the end of his three-year mission in Iran, met and talked with Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Morteza Sarmadi.

During the meeting, Iran’s Sarmadi appreciated the efforts of Paul Foley in line with boosting bilateral ties saying “the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) provided massive opportunities for cooperation between Tehran and Canberra which requires diplomatic measures to overcome barriers and obstacles.”

Mr. Foley, the Australian ambassador to Tehran, also stated that he had observed the resolution of a long-lasting difficulty through diplomacy; “more issues will be addressed with the passage of time.”
