Iranian humanoid robot team from Amirkabir University of Technology went against rivals from Germany, Taiwan and Brazil in technical competitions in Humanoid Teen-Size Robot League of RoboCup 2016 and managed to win the first place. The team won the third place in the standings match of the competitions.
The 20th edition of RoboCup 2016 kicked off in the German city of Leipzig on Thursday and will wrap up today on July 4. Over 200 teams from universities, schools and various institutes from 45 countries in the world are participating in this year’s edition.
Amirkabir University is participating in the event with three teams in RoboCup rescue stimulation league, small-sized soccer league and humanoid robots.
