The total number of breaches is estimated to level 730 since the agreement came into effect on February 27, 2016.
Russian center, based in Hmeimim airbase, said in a statement on Wednesday that terrorists of the so-called Jaish al-Islam targeted Syrian army positions with mortar rounds in Hteitet al-Jersh, Harasta, Jobar and other areas in Damascus countryside. The cessation of hostilities agreement is not applicable to ISIS, Al-Nusra Front or other groups designated as terrorist organizations by the UN Security Council resolution 2268.
Russian Center's statement noted that terrorists of Al-Nusra Front shelled al-Nairab Airport, Handarat town and the neighborhoods of al-Midan, al-Zahraa and al-Sheikh Maqsoud in Aleppo province as well as a number of towns in the provinces of Damascus, Idleb and Lattakia. Various reports affirm that the terrorist organization of Al-Nusra Front has received advanced tanks, anti-tank missiles and a hundred anti-aircraft missiles during cessation of hostilities, in addition to the arrival of more terrorists with their heavy weapons from Turkey to join the internationally designated Jabhat Al-Nusra.
As for the local reconciliations, the Center pointed out in its statement that one more town joined the cessation of hostilities agreement in Homs province, raising the number of towns and villages within the agreement to 166.
