LATTAKIA, Jun. 28 (MNA) – Syrian locals has informed on arrival of heavily armed militants from Turkey in Syria on Monday, Russian Coordination Center announced.

The statement issued by the Russian Coordination Center on Tuesday quoted locals as saying that additional militants, with their heavy weapons, arrived from Turkey to join the internationally-designated terrorist organization of Jabhat al-Nusra.

The statement also reported on observing three new breaches of the cessation of hostilities agreement by terrorist groups in the countryside of Damascus.

The Russian center, based in Hmeimim airbase, also said in the statement that terrorists of the so-called "Jaish al-Islam" targeted Syrian army positions with mortar rounds in different areas in Damascus countryside.

Terrorist groups affiliated to Jaish al-Islam backed by Saudi Wahhabi regime are positioned in several areas of Damascus countryside, particularly in Eastern Ghouta.

The Russian center had previously reported on June 15 that around 100 heavily armed Al-Nusra Front terrorists were spotted arriving in the border region between Syria and Turkey by locals living in Kbana, a village in Syria’s Lattakia province, according to RT.
