TEHRAN, Apr. 26 (MNA) – Vice-President for War Veterans Affairs Seyed Mohammad Ali Shahidi arrived in Lebanon on Monday and met with Lebanese PM Salam, Parliament Speaker Berri and Hezbollah’s Secretary General Nasrallah.

Iranian President Rouhani’s deputy for war veterans’ affairs, Seyed Mohammad Ali Shahidi, who is visiting Lebanon, met with Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary General of the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah, on Tuesday.

During the meeting which was attended by Mohammad Fathali, Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon, and a number of Hezbollah officials, the two officials exchanged views on the latest developments in Lebanon and the whole region

The Iranian official arrived in Beirut on Monday and at his first meeting in the trip, he went to Ain Tineh where the Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri lives and met with the senior lawmaker.

Later on Monday, Shahidi met with Prime Minister Tammam Salam at the heart of Beirut and discussed the bilateral and regional issues along with the latest of Lebanon’s.
