TEHRAN, Mar. 25 (MNA) – Iran’s Hassan Rouhani will visit Austria on April 1, heading a high-ranking political and economic delegation.

Parviz Esmaili told Mehr News on Friday that President Rouhani would visit Vienna by an official invitation of Austrian President Heinz Fischer.

Mr. Esmaili who is media and public relations deputy of Presidential office, added that Mr. Fischer of Austria had visited Tehran last September; he told Mehr News that the visit would finalize Iran-Austria economic cooperation roadmap.

“The visit will also be attended by tradesmen and industrial moguls of the private sector. President Rouhani will also meet Austrian Chancellor Werner Faymann during his hectic timetable,” he detailed.

“Both presidents will sign a number of MoUs in different fields of interest; during 2-day visit, Mr. Rouhani will have a number of his cabinet members. The meeting will also facilitate Iranian entrepreneurs’ contacts with Austrian industries and businesses. President Rouhani will depart for Tehran on Thursday April 2,” Esamili concluded.
