TEHRAN, Mar. 18 (MNA) – Iranian FM Mohammad Javad Zarif will make a visit to Turkey on Saturday to hold talks with senior Turkish officials, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement today.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif will conduct talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu after meeting with his Turkish counterpart, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, the statement said.

The discussion topics during Zarif’s visit are expected to include expansion of bilateral relations between the two countries and current regional and international developments, it added.

Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu had met with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani earlier this month in Tehran, during which the two sides reiterated the expansion of ties between the two countries as well as the necessity of fight against terrorism.
