TEHRAN, Mar. 16 (MNA) – Iran’s FM spokesperson has condemned Saudi Arabia’s air raid against Yemen’s northwestern province of Hajjah.

Hossein Jaberi Ansari strongly condemned the attack carried out on Wednesday morning which killed and wounded tens of civilians including women and children in a daily market in Al-Hajjah. He called for strict measures by the UN and other international responsible organizations to address the air raids which had been killing regularly civilians in Yemen.

“The intense bombing of civilians and non-military targets as well as denying access for international organizations involved in humanitarian aid to affected areas are flagrant violation of international humanitarian laws; we believe that international organizations and influential countries should immediately intervene to protect Yemeni civilians especially children, women and the elderly,” he emphasized.
