TEHRAN, Feb. 28 (MNA) – Deputy Foreign Minister has blasted Saudi Arabian denial of visa for Iranian delegation to participate in meeting of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Jeddah.

Mr. Hamid Baeidinejad, Director-General for Political and International Affairs of Iran's Foreign Ministry, voiced harshest protest to the ‘relevant authorities’ in the Saudi government over the denial of visa issuing to Iranian delegation on Sunday. “Any decision made in the meeting without Islamic Republic of Iran present lacks the legitimacy and will be void,” he was quoted as saying. Turkey will chair over the OIC meeting in Jeddah which prepares the draft of future resolution of the OIC to be officially issued in Istanbul.

Baeidinejad hoped that Saudi officials would take a realistic view of the situation to avoid the less important issues and focus on priorities of the Islamic world such as Palestinian issue, terrorism, sectarian violence, and other host of issues.
