TEHRAN, Feb. 26 (MNA) – The Principlist Coalition Central Council spokesperson Gholamali Haddad Adel described elections as a political and national celebration.

He made the remarks in response to a question made by Mehr News correspondant, after he dropped his vote into the ballot box on Friday morning.

“Iranian’s turnout for national solidarity, national dignity and authority is necessary which conveys a great message to the world,” he said.

He called elections as a political and national celebration which proves Iranian's eagerness to determine their own fate.

Haddad Adel said he is optimistic over the outcome of the elections, adding “I am confident that the Iranian nation has the will and determination to continue the path of Imam Khomeini and the Leader of Islamic Revolution."
