TEHRAN, Feb. 15 (MNA) – Iran’s deputy FM Takht-Ravanchi heading an economic-trade delegation will depart for Norway Mon. night to identify areas for trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for European and American Affairs Majid Takht-Ravanchi heading an economic-trade delegation will depart for Oslo tonight under the framework of the sixth round of Iran-Norway political negotiations and with an aim to hold talks with Norwegian political and economic officials on bilateral, regional and international issues.

Takht-Ravanchi will be accompanied by Mohammad Saeedi, Managing Director of the Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines, Mohammadreza Ayatollahi, CEO of Social Security Investment Co., Saeed Sarkar, Director of Iran Nano Technology Initiative Council, and a number of representatives from Iran’s chamber of commerce, industries, mines and agriculture, as well as other economic-trade sections such as oil and gas, pharmaceuticals and insurance.

The two sides are also scheduled to hold a meeting on the sidelines of the visit in order to identify areas and opportunities for trade and economic cooperation as well as to revive and enhance bilateral cooperation in the past.

Exchanging delegations and political and economic relations between Iran and Norway has dramatically increased over the past two years and especially after the implementation of the JCPOA and the lifting of sanctions.
