TEHRAN, Jan. 30 (MNA) – Foreign Minister Zarif told the reporters on the sidelines of a conference in Tehran that he would head a big economic delegation to South America in near future.

To have stable relations with other countries, the relations should be multi-dimensional and in all areas, said Mohammad Javad Zarif on Saturday.

The Iranian foreign minister made the remarks while addressing a conference in Tehran titled ‘Post-JCPOA Opportunities’ which was attended by media experts, representatives from NGOs and religious minorities, along with syndicates and parties.

"We have always announced that we would prioritize countries who continued their relations with Tehran during sanctions," reiterated Zarif referring to China and Russia, saying that the Islamic Republic would bolster ties with them.

He touched upon Chinese President’s visit to Tehran as the highest possible strategic measure undertaken by China which fruited to comprehensive agreements of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

A 25-year cooperation plan with China was agreed upon, recounted Zarif necessitating the need to have multi-dimensional relations with strategic partners like China.

The Iranian minister also pointed that Iran has told the European countries that it would not be an export destination in new relations with the West and partnership in production and export is the condition for all the new agreements signed in the last two stops of President Rouhani and his big delegation to Europe.  

Touching upon relations with South American countries, Zarif described the ties positive and relations at good status as currently some Iranian companies are present in the Latin continent.

Zarif also broke the news that he would head a big delegation of activists in trade, business, and economy to a tour of South America in near future.
