TEHRAN, Jan. 30 (MNA) – Kaveh Ebrahimpour’s movie will be screened in the main competitive section of the 8th Bengaluru International Film Festival.

The film relates the story of the life of Yahya, 13, whose custody, orphaned by his mother’s death, is given to his maternal aunt. Bitter and ill-tempered and of dubious character, the aunt has a life of controversial fame and scandal among the community. Yayha’s quest is to find a new meaning of life and perhaps, to find an alternative to his own mother. The quest proves huge costs for him.

Fatemeh Motamed Aria, Mahan Nasiri, Neda Jabraeili, Touraj Mansouri, Rabe’eh Oskouei, Alireza Mohammadi, Maryam Shirazi, and Saleh Mirza Aqaei are among the cast. Bangaluru Film Festival has opened January 8 and will continue until February 4 in Indian city of Bangalore, the capital of Karnataka and important center for cultural and artistic event of the country.
