TEHRAN, Jan. 27 (MNA) – Iranian Deputy FM Amir-Abdollahian has arrived in Moscow on Wed. to discuss the Syrian crisis with his Russian counterpart ahead of Geneva III peace conference.

Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, is slated to hold talks with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, the Russian president's Special Representative for the Middle East and Africa, on the threshold of Geneva III conference on Syrian crisis.

In addition to exchanging views for finding a political solution for the Syrian crisis, Amir-Abdollahian will also confer on Yemeni issues and combating terrorism and extremism.

The Geneva III peace conference will begin on January 29, focusing on a broad ceasefire, stopping ISIL militants and increasing aid, UN's Syria envoy Staffan de Mistura told journalists in Geneva on Monday.

The Syrian government has said that Damascus's delegation will be headed by the Syrian ambassador to the United Nations, Bashar al-Jaafari.
