TEHRAN, Jan. 18 (MNA) - The documentary movie 'Starless Dreams' would represent Iranian documentary cinema in 66th Berlin International Film Festival.

Starless Dreams, directed by Mehrdad Oskuie, will vie in “New Generation” section of 66th Berlin International Film Festival.

Starless Dreams is the last part of a documentary trilogy, with Days without Calendar as the first and The Last Days of Winter as the second.

Oskuie has said the production of the film has been inspired by a question about teenage girls in rehabilitation centers.

The causes of crimes amongst teenagers has been a concern for the director and Starless Dreams is an answer on these concerns, telling the story of seven teenage girls’ lives in a rehabilitation center in Tehran.

The 66th Berlinale will be held in Berlin 11-21 February, 2016.
