TEHRAN, Dec. 26 (MNA) – Out of 4 fixtures of the new round of 15th season of  Iran’s Persian Gulf League of Professional Soccer, three events ended with no victor.  

The 15th season of Iran’s Persian Gulf League of Professional Soccer entered the second half of it on Saturday.  

The first they of the 16th round got into gear with four matches out of which 6 teams left the pitch with sharing the points.

Perspolis and Padideh were the first to open the day and lined up in Mashhad where the hosts took advantage of the home event for two times and led the event, first with Mehdi Kheiri’s goal at the 57th minute which was equalized ten minutes later by Mehdi Taromi, and the second with an own goal by Bengar which was equalized at the 93rd minute of the event by Ramian Rezaian.

With the 2-2 draw Perspolis reached the total of 26 points and Padideh clinched the 18th point of the season.

Esteghlal of Khuzestan hosted Sepahan of Isfahan in Ahvaz and led the event at the 58th minute but conceded to a goal at the 85th minute to share the points of a home event for the first time in the season.

The giant blues of Ahvaz still crown the table with 33 points and even their Tehrani rivals win their fixture of tomorrow, they will still reside at the top of the table with the merit of goal difference.

At the third venue of the day, Takhti Stadium of Tehran saw an event during one-third of it the hosts were one goal behind visiting Foulad of Khuzestan. Rah Ahan equalized at the 58th minute with the goal scored by Mohammad Abbaszadeh.

The green giants of Isfahan, lined up against the white swans of Anzali who are experiencing a troubled season at the last match of the day where the hosts edge passed the visiting Malavan 1-0 to continue their chain of success in the course for the title of the league.
