The secretariat of the tenth edition of Iran’s International 100 Second Film Festival announced that according to a new agreement with American Easton based 100-Second Film Festival a selection of fifty 100-second films featured in the American event will be screened at a special section of the Iranian festival.
The first festival of 100 Second Films, in Iran and around the world, was held in Iranian city of Karaj on December 2-4, 2003 and the first edition was flooded with more than 500 films, out of which 70 works were selected by the jury for competition.
The tenth edition of the Karaj-based event is to be held early in 2016 as the final deadline for submitting works has been set to be on January 15.
