TEHRAN, Dec. 21 (MNA) – Iranian men’s national roll ball team became the vice-champions at the third Roll Ball World Cup in India.

In the final encounter of 2015 Roll Ball World Cup held in India on Sunday evening, the Iranian squad suffered a 4-6 defeat against the hosts to finish second the event.

The third edition of Roll Ball World Cup took place in the Indian city of Pune on December 15-20 where the Iranian men roll ballers became the vice-champions for the second consecutive year while the Iranian women’s outfit stood on the third podium in their first presence in the international tournament.

In the men’s section, India and Lithuania came first and second, respectively.

Meanwhile, Kenya’s team won the title in the women’s competitions followed by India and Iran who pocketed the silver and bronze medals.
