Iran’s stand at the expo is presenting carpets, souvenirs as well as Iranian traditional and handmade crafts.
As a representative of Iran's Cultural Heritage Handicrafts and Tourism Organization (ICHTO), the stand is mounted by Touring and Automobile Club of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The pavilion held handicrafts workshops with the attendance of six Iranian artists who presented the country’s art to the visitors.
Moreover the exhibition’s executive manager Diego Sala visited Iran’s stand and expressed his gratitude over the professional participation of Iran as well as the in- time payment, executive commitments and the enrolment of Iranian artists in the expo’s online catalogue.
The tourism and handicrafts manager of the Touring and Automobile Club of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ebadreza Eslami said that opening a permanent store of Iranian handicrafts in Milan, attending the 2016 Munich Crafts Expo, participating in international crafts events including Expo Milano 2016 are among the club’s goals.
L’Artigiano in Fiera, which opened on December 5, will conclude today.
The fair provides an excellent opportunity for the professionals to discuss on the latest opportunities and new developments in the respective field and disseminate and publicize their business in the global markets.
