AHVAZ, Dec. 10 (MNA) – The IRGC commander-in-chief has said Khuzestan province once was the ‘ultimate borders of defense;’ now it has virtually been thousands of kilometers away from immediate borders.

Maj. Gen. Mohammad Ali Jafari who was addressing a group of Khuzestan province families of martyrs in Ahvaz on Thursday, said that the nature of war had not changed whatsoever, calling the people to accurately understand different aspects of the ‘conspiracy.’

“We are currently defending our borders thousands of kilometers away from our immediate borders; the Middle East is crucial in that the destiny of the world is set by developments currently underway in this strategic region,” Jafari emphasized. “A spiritual unity within the Islamic unity is overshadowing political borders on the map of the resistance axis countries which is very significant."

“The US and Zionist regime are no longer strong enough to resist in any probable confrontation with Muslims; in Iraq, people learned to fight parties very similar to those fighting the second Shia Imam Hossein (PBUH); the future of Islam and world will be determined in the battle fought in the Middle East,” Jafari emphasized.
