TEHRAN, Dec. 02 (MNA) – Director of Luxembourg foreign ministry's international economic relations met with head of the Iranian Civil Aviation Organization discussing venues for expansion of air transit cooperation between the two countries.

The Luxembourger official and Iran’s Ali Abedzadeh approved of signing an air transport agreement as well as an aviation Memorendum of Understanding (MoU).

The two sides further agreed to exchange the proposed texts for initial review.

The issue of Luxembourg's Cargo Lux Company was also raised at the meeting where Abedzadeh said, “holding flights by the company is subject to receiving an official letter from Luxembourg’s civil aviation."

Luxembourg is active in the field of aviation; especially air transport in Eurozone and the flights of the Cargo Lux Company plays an important role in air transportation.
