TEHRAN, Nov. 27 (MNA) – Iran’s ambassador to the IAEA commented on Amano’s latest statement that he was ‘not in a position to provide credible assurance.’

The IAEA keeps the same approach toward all members who do not implement the Additional Protocol (AP), said Reza Najafi, Iran’s ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in reaction to the latest comments made by IAEA chief Yukiya Amano.

Najafi asserted that the same words are said about Switzerland who has even implemented the AP for ten years and the 2014 report on Switzerland affirms that the country is still without broader conclusion.

These words have been repeated for many years and it is not something new, underlined the Iranian diplomat.

The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Amano, addressed the meeting of the IAEA's 35-nation board of governors on Thursday and said that he would provide a final report on the issue by next week, but warned he was not credible to guarantee that Tehran’s program was meant completely for peaceful purposes.
