TEHRAN, Nov. 07 (MNA) – Tehran’s 7-millennia-old woman discovered during the diggings in Mowlavi St. in downtown Tehran by Tehran Water and Wastewater Company, was transferred to National Museum of Iran.

The skeleton was transferred to the National Museum due to inconvenient conditions in the street, Director of Iran's Archaeology Research Center Hamideh Choubak told Mehr News. “The skeleton will be unveiled during Research Week and all enthusiasts can visit the discovery.”

The remnant of the second skeleton discovered at the same site was also transferred to the museum, she added.

Choubak believes it is very interesting for the public to know what the face of ancient past people looked like; she said that the estimations made would not show the level of similarity to the original face.
