TEHRAN, Oct. 27 (MNA) – Seyed Erfan Hosseini could win the silver medal of Men's Javelin Throw F13 at Doha 2015 IPC Athletics World Championships gaining Rio Paralympics quota.

Attending the Men's Javelin Throw F13 competition, Iran’s Seyed Erfan Hosseini won the silver medal with a record of 59 meters and 97 centimeters while the other Iranian athlete in the same class Sajad Nikparast stood in the fourth place with a record of 59 meters and 42 centimeters.

Therefore, the fifth day of Doha Championships came to an end with Iran having bagged 3 gold, 6 silver and 1 bronze medal as well as 9 Paralympic Quotas.

On the sixth day of the competitions, Hashemiyeh Motaghian Moavi will compete in Women’s Discus Throw while in the evening session Abdolrasoul Mirshekari and Javid Ehsani Shakib will take part in the Javelin Throw and the Shot Put respectively.

The Iranian National Paralympic Committee (NPC) has named 19 athletes who are representing their country at the 2015 IPC Athletics World Championships held 21-31 October in Doha, Qatar.
