TEHRAN, Oct. 6 (MNA) – Iran's Head of Judiciary has said that Mina Tragedy proved that Saudis do not deserve the management of Hajj calling for Islamic countries to deal with the issue.

Pointing out that the Mina disaster can be examined from different perspectives Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani said on Monday that, “the investigation of the incident covers various issues including Saudi’s inappropriate behavior in dealing with the incident, failure to address the status of victims and ignoring the primary cause of the accident as well as false and vague notifications aimed to distort public opinion.”

Deeming accusation against other countries as yet another significant aspect of the incident, Amoli Larijani stated that, “Islamic countries should deal with the issue since Saudi Arabia is not capable of controlling Hajj congregation.”

The official reiterated that the Islamic countries and associated organizations need to think of ways to manage Hajj ceremony by offering a suitable plan to avoid similar disasters.

“Many of Muslims are suffering from the arrogance of Saudis and their irresponsibility is not negligible,” said the Head of Judiciary expressing hope that the incident will be investigated from different aspects including legal prosecution.

At another part of his speech, Amoli Larijani referred to the American’s behavior in dealing with the implementation of JCPOA and linking it to the issue of compensation on the part of Iran deeming such behavior as irrational and inconsistent with America’s basic behavior during the course of negotiations.

“A country which has carried out nefarrious activities against the Islamic Republic of Iran for many years is now accusing us of terrorist actions while Iran has the right to ask for compensation for the killing of nearly 300 Iranian passengers in America’s air attack to Iran’s airplane,” he asserted.

Pointing to the crimes of the US all around the world, Amoli Larijani noted that, “America’s hands are ‘stained with the blood of all nations’ and that their claims on human rights merely indicates their arrogance and dishonesty.”

He further asserted that, “the Iranian nation would not be burdened with such treatment and my advice to government authorities and diplomats is to adjust their behavior according to American’s behavior recalling that we cannot befriend the enemy.”
