TEHRAN, Sep. 16 (MNA) – Iran’s FM spokeswoman has urged holding an emergency session of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to address Israel’s dividing Al-Aqsa Mosque compound into sections and time segments.

Marzieh Afkham who was speaking on Tuesday, condemned the act as blatant violation of international law. She also denounced Israeli regime’s march into the mosque as violation of Muslims’ holy sites, and called all countries especially world of Islam and international organizations including the UN and OIC to show immediate reaction on regime’s illegal act.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran is willing to hold an emergency session with participation of OIC member states to address and to take possible measures against the act and recent illegal measures in the mosque,” Afkham suggested.
