Referring to the influential presence of Iranian fleets in international waters, Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari asserted that, “Iran’s 35th flotilla we arrive in our territorial waters by the end of this week while the 36th fleet consisting of Bushehr logistic vessel and Jamaran destroyer will launch their missions.”
Following the measures of the Leader, Iranian fleets have been present in international waters including India, Sri Lanka, the equator, the islands of Indonesia, Straits of Malacca, the South China Sea, the Pacific Ocean, the Suez Canal, Gulf of Aden, the Strait of Bab el-Mandeb, Red Sea, Mediterranean Sea and the South and North Indian Ocean.
The 35th fleet of Iran’s Navy, consisting of Bandar Abbas auxiliary ship and Alvand destroyer, had left the country in early July to start their mission and after the completion of their 90-day mission they will return home this week.
Commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy has underlined that Iranian fleets follow the aim of securing shipping lanes, combatting maritime terrorism as well as hoisting the sacred flag of the Islamic Republic of Iran in international waters.
