TEHRAN, Sep. 15 (MNA) – Head of the Parliament Special Commission for reviewing the JCPOA announced that the commission is ready to hold a hearing session with IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano.

Senior Parliamentarian from Tehran constituency Alireza Zakani made the remarks this morning at the beginning of the meeting of Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) Special Commission.

Head of Iran’s AEOI Ali Akbar Salehi said, yesterday, that Amano will pay a visit to Iran in upcoming days. "The Parliament Special Commission on JCPOA is ready to invite IAEA Head Yukiya Amano for a hearing session so that the MPs can hear the methods of inspections and the their concerns regarding the agencies inspectors since the Agency suffers from a negative background in Iran and has leaked many classified information in the past," asserted Zakani who is a nuclear physician himself.

Zakani noted that since Mr. Amano is the Director General of an international organization considered to be an impartial and non-politic entity, "we would like to hear his opinions in the Iranian Parliament the same way he had attended the US congress in August."
