According to IRNA, a Georgian News Agency reported a meeting between Georgian Finance Minister Nodar Khaduri and a delegation from an Iranian investing company.
During the meeting the Georgian official expressed his country’s willingness for expansion of economic and trade ties with Tehran as he described development of economic and commercial cooperation with Iran as significant in near future.
Khaduri also recounted customs and taxation laws as well as investment and entrepreneurship atmosphere in Georgia for the Iranian delegation expressing hope for having the Iranian company invest in Georgia’s desired projects.
The same report accounts that the Iranian side has voiced interest in areas of energy, construction, transportation, infrastructures, and communication.
To get further acquainted with the company's activities, the Iranian company also invited the Georgian minister to visit Iran.
