TEHRAN, Aug. 27 (MNA) – Iran National Science Foundation (INSF) will provide support for those researchers whose research proposals have been approved and are willing to use facilities and laboratories of Iran High-Tech Laboratory Network.

Iran High-Tech Laboratory Network was established in June 2014 following the decree issued by Sorena Sattari, Iranian Vice-President for Science and Technology, with the general objective of bringing together the laboratory capabilities of the country in different high-tech areas. The network works to realize the following objectives:

Improving quality and quantity of laboratory services in strategic technologies; providing researchers and industries with access to laboratory services; collecting comprehensive data on the number and types of laboratory equipment and their distribution across the country, to assess the needs for developing laboratory potentials of the country; promoting the technical knowledge of laboratory experts through training and sharing experiences; standardizing laboratory services and providing services with desirable outcomes; and, helping member laboratories develop their potentials according to the needs of the country.
