Maj. Gen. Hassan Firouzabadi told reporters on Sunday that Iran’s missile program had been planned in a manner so as to avoid any possible sabotage; “for any missile test-fire, a board of policy-making examines all aspects of the issue and the outcome is communicated to the Leader, and would directly be implemented having approved by the Leader of the Islamic Republic,” he was quoted by his special office. “All other approved cases will be implemented by the armed forces,” he added.
Firouzabadi expressed gratitude to Parliament for the statement issued by 204 representatives which called for the armed forces to resume test-firing missiles, and ensured representatives that all approved missile test-fires would be carried out on due time.
