JAIPUR, Aug. 07 (MNA) – Noted screen writer Kamlesh Pandey will head next Jaipur International Film Festival (JIFF) to be held in Jaipur next January.

It was announced by JIFF spokesperson Rajendra Bora after the JIFF Board meeting on Thursday.

An Indian screenwriter and advertising professional with more than 30 years of experience in films, television and advertising, Pandey expressed gratitude over invitation from the chairperson of the 8th Jaipur International Film Festival and confirmed his acceptance of the invitation.

“It would be truly an honor and privilege for me to chair such a prestigious international festival,” he said in his acceptance communication.

Pandey, winner of Filmfare Award for Tezaab, Star Screen Award for ‘Saudagar’ and IIFA Award for ‘Rang De Basanti,’ had been visiting JIFF for the last two consecutive years.

Next edition of JIFF will be launched on January 2, 2016 and will run through January 6.
