TEHRAN, Jul. 07 (MNA) – Iran’s head of Parliament has told a meeting of Quds Liberation Activists Palestinian issue would not be affected by an end to Iran’s nuclear negotiations.

Ali Larijani told the meeting on Tuesday which was held just ahead of International Quds Day held each year on the last Friday of Ramadan (the 9th month of the Hegira calendar) that Palestinian issue was a strategic problem for Iran and any circumstance of Iran’s nuclear issue (whether it is solved or not) would not set the Palestinian issue in abeyance, and “Iranians’ support for Palestine would never cease.”

Larijani, who also represents Qom constituency in the Parliament, pointed to historic act by Imam Khomeini (RA) in assigning a great importance to Palestine with calling the last Friday of Ramadan as International Quds Day; “the day is a clear indication of Imam’s sagacity and depth of view of events, in establishing one of the sacred days of Islamic world,” he asserted.

Larijani debunked the Zionist regime as an evil state in the region; “despite the weaknesses evident in the structure of the regime, its depravity has still continued unfazed; this is an issue of the lack of resolution in part of Islamic countries who have left the ground for Zionist regime to roam freely in; you see that they are quite uneasy in the face of a nuclear deal by Iran and the west,” he emphasized.

“The Zionist regime is an evil entity in its all aspects; while all political analysts in the region and internationally would be unanimous that a nuclear deal would restore security and stability to the region, they would yet embark on their opposition which is true to their nature which is seeking malice toward Islamic countries,” he said.

“The red hand of the Zionist regime is evident in Syrian crisis, in their provocative acts against Islamic countries as well; however, on Quds day, Iranian nation would display their strong resolve and integrity to ideals articulated by Imam Khomeini (RA) against Zionist regime,” he concluded.
