TEHRAN, Feb. 01 (MNA) – Stone Lion in Hamadan is a tourist attraction in Iran. As the oldest stone lion in Iran, it is a relic of the Medes.
The statue is one of a pair of stone lions installed at the gate of Hamedan. Muslims named it the Lion Gate after the advent of Islam in Iran.
