KARBALA, Oct. 07 (MNA) – Shias in Iraq have started holding Arbaeen ceremonies to commemorate the Martyrdom of Imam Hussein(PBUH), the third Shia Imam in the battle of Karbala.
Arbaeen is a religious observance that occurs forty days after the Day of Ashura. This year, Arbaeen falls on October 8, 2020.
