Preventing aircraft sales to Iran violates JCPOA

TEHRAN, Sep. 14 (MNA) – Iranian Leader’s Senior Advisor on International Affair said US measures to prevent sales of commercial aircraft to Iran undermines the JCPOA, however Iran does not need the US.

During an assembly with the deans and professors of universities, Ali Akbar Velayati said “preventing sales of aircrafts to Iran is another proof that we should not rely on the US and their allies. Iran doesn’t need the US to accomplish its goals.” He also remarked that this decision was not unexpected.

Pointing out that Iran does not require American aircrafts,  he added “we can meet the needs of Iran both in the region and international scale without the US. We do not care that they are trying to use leverage. This behavior will not pressure us and these are merely American hallucinations which will lead to nothing.”

According to Velayati, Americans are violating JCPOA. Moreover he stated that the new president of United States comes up with a new approach toward Iran every day, meaning that Iran should not look forward to cooperation with this country and doesn’t need it either.
