Iran secure despite regional crisis

TEHRAN, Dec. 09 (MNA) – Secretary of Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani has said Iran’s border security in spite of regional crisis proved dominance and authority of the country’s security organizations.

Meeting with members of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of Majlis this morning, Shamkhani pointed to the unique role of the Parliament in creating national power and emphasized on necessity of constant exchange of information in order to improve coordination among all organizations and institutes involved in national security.

Shamkhani acknowledged the authority and dominance of security organizations regarding the sustainable security of Iran and its borders, and stressed that “due to efficiency of our security and defense units, military threats are the least likely the country would face.”

Explaining the effect of Resistance economy policy in development and progress of the country and also in fight against economic corruption, he added “comprehensive, sustainable security is intertwined with comprehensive progress and development.”

Shamkhani also described the continuation of talks with 5+1 as the Iran’s approach in order to maintain its nuclear rights thoroughly and to lift cruel sanctions against the country and stated that a deal in which both sides can find their interests and demands was only possible through respecting rights of each side and seek legitimate requests.

Meanwhile, Shamkhani dubbed efforts by American politicians to misrepresent the results of the nuclear talks as propaganda in their domestic politics. “Our negotiators are sons of the Islamic Revolution and representatives of our Islamic Republic who are seeking to maintain true will and demand of the nation.”
