The operation was done in a hospital in Tehran on Monday morning. Before the surgery, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei described the surgery as a common procedure which is not worrisome. “However, I still need people keep praying for me,” told the Leader to IRIB correspondent just before operation.
“God willing, everything will go on routinely by the help of God,” Ayatollah Khamenei said.
Medical team have pronounced the surgery as successful.
