UN says Assange 'unlawfully detained'

TEHRAN, Feb. 06 (MNA) – The UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention announced on Fri. Julian Assange, founder of Wikileaks, was arbitrarily detained by the Governments of Sweden and the UK since 2010. In this case the UK and Sweden must immediately release and compensate him for his “deprivation of liberty.” Hammond called the panel’s finding “ridiculous.”
