TEHRAN -- Majlis minority faction called on the government on Monday to strive to meet the needs of the public, reduce bureaucratic maze, and create better living standards for the people, said a statement on Monday.

"National strength requires people's solidarity, their relationship with the government and the national interests which entails the government's determination to settle people's problems, meet their needs and facilitate their living," Mehr News Agency reported.
The statement urged lawmakers to ratify the required legislation in the shortest possible time and implement all within their jurisdiction for supervision and lifting up the impediments in the government organizations.
It also called on the Judiciary to assign noble judges and recruit honest employees and speed up the process of probing into the legal cases.
"Assignment of qualified managers, planning... continued renovation of the working methods and procedures and lowering the paper wall would improve giving services to the people," the MPs said referring to the executive branch.
