TEHRAN, July 13 (Mehr News Agency) -- Directed by Javad Mozdabadi, the "Wall of Life" is a documentary that has found its way into the Competition Section of the Portuguese Avanca Film Festival held on July 23-27, announced its producer, the Experimental and Documentary Film Center (EDFC) on Sunday.

According to EDFC, more than 50 short films from 44 countries will also be screened in different sections of the festival.

 

Award-winner Farshad Fereshteh-Hekmat at the 6th Avanca Film Festival for "Behind the Curtain of Heavens," is one of the juries for the International Competition Section of the festival.

 

Directed by the Iranian filmmaker, Ebrahim Forouzesh, the feature film "Children of Oil" also won top prize in the 6th festival.

 

Seven specialists from among the contemporary cinema figures and prominent authors of the industry will direct different workshops at the Avanca 2003.
