TEHRAN July 12 (MNA) -— Laboratories approved by the Institute of Standards and Industrial Research of Iran (ISIRI) could work as the quality control (Q.C.) body on behalf of the institute and, evaluate the quality of domestically-made goods, a lawmaker said here on Monday.

The Industries and Mines Committee of the Majlis (the Parliament) on Saturday approved the bill regarding laws and regulations pertaining to the Institute of Standards and Industrial Research of Iran ratified back in 1992, added Mohammad Abtahi, member of the Industries and Mines Committee of the Majlis.
