TEHRAN, Nov. 19 (MNA) -- Persepolis and Sepahan played out a goalless draw in the Iran Professional League (IPL) on Saturday.

Each team earned one point from the game.

Persepolis and Sepahan stayed equal till the end of the match with both sides squandering chances at the Azadi Stadium in Tehran.
 
Persepolis striker Hadi Norouzi was sent off in the 78th minute after receiving his second yellow card.
 
“I am not satisfied with the result. We could have won the match,” Sepahan coach Zlatko Kranjcar said.
 
Some of the Persepolis fans shouted slogans against the team’s coach Hamid Estili and his players.
 
“I don’t know what’s going on here. Our fans should support us but they stand against us. Persepolis played well against one of the best IPL teams, however some of the fans came here to undermine us,” Persepolis coach Hamid Estili said.
 
Sepahan is fifth with 25 points in IPL table while Persepolis moved down to 10th place with 17 points.
 
Earlier, IPL pace setter Esteghlal was held to a 1-1 draw by Saba in Qom.
