“The Iranian Embassy in Poland is planning for a visit to Warsaw by a delegation from the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Interior Ministry. The two sides will discuss the issues of bilateral interests particularly, those concerning the Iranian pilgrims in Iraq,” the unnamed source also told the news agency.
The unnamed source told the Mehr News Agency that the details of the attack on an Iranian pilgrims’ bus by Polish troops in Iraq have not yet been revealed, but he said as new facts on the case have become known, the Iranian Embassy in Warsaw will follow up the issue through the Polish foreign and defense ministries.
Meanwhile, the spokesman of the Polish Foreign Ministry who is also Poland’s chairman of the Media Bureau stated that details on the collision of a bus with a checkpoint near Karbala in Iraq and the ensuing firing by the Polish troops on the bus are under investigation.
