TEHRAN, Aug. 16 (MNA) -- Persepolis striker Mehrdad Oladi has been ruled out for two months after suffering a hamstring injury against Shahin of Bushehr in Iran Professional League (IPL).

Persepolis coach Hamid Estili said that the player is expected to be out until October.

It means the 26-year-old striker will miss Tehran Derby against arch rival Esteghlal in the IPL week seven.

“The Shahin player made a bad tackle but unfortunately the referee even didn’t show him a yellow card. Oladi will be out at least eight weeks,” Estili said.

Oladi joins Persepolis in the summer transfer window.
