TEHRAN, Aug. 10 (MNA) -- Five Iranian security forces were killed on Monday when their vehicle was ambushed by members of the counter-revolutionary group PJAK (the Party for a Free Life in Kurdistan) in northwestern Iran.

The governor of the northwestern city of Maku told the Fars news agency on Tuesday that the incident took place in Chaldoran region in West Azarbaijan Province.
